The Pokémon TCG has a serious counterfeit problem — especially online. At Pokadopa, fighting that is part of why we exist. Whether you're buying Japanese imports or English sealed product, you can be certain you're getting the real thing.
How we guarantee it
- Sourced direct & through trusted channels. Our Japanese booster boxes are imported directly from Japan via established, reputable suppliers, and our English sealed product comes through trusted, official distribution channels — never anonymous grey-market sellers.
- Factory-sealed, always. Sealed product arrives exactly as it left the manufacturer. We never sell resealed or tampered boxes.
- We avoid counterfeit hotspots. We do not source from marketplaces like Alibaba or DHgate, which are flooded with fakes. Counterfeit trading cards are illegal to sell in South Africa under the Counterfeit Goods Act, and they undermine the whole hobby.
- Checked before it ships. Every order is inspected for seal integrity and condition before it goes out the door.
